Week 12: What are the characteristics of an engaging Action Research Report? Reading through a variety of other well-rounded action research reports gave me many ideas as to what qualities it should have.
A few common characteristics were, readability, appearance, engaging hook, organization, and consistency. It is easy to open up an action research report and feel immediately lost. Organization and appearance can help the reader feel more understanding and aware as they read through a research report. Relevance and consistency is equally important to make sure the reader understands the root of the study throughout the whole report. As cited from lydiaarnold.net, a consistent report will include:
Lastly, it must be engaging. There have been a handful of action research papers I have read through that felt dry and very little charisma.
