My data collection is fairly simple and explicit. I do not have to do much number crunching or statistical analysis. My data will show me patterns and trends.
For this question I went directly to Seesaw itself to see what can work and is useful for this program. It’s best collection of data is in qualitative forms. Students ability to keep a digital portfolio means they can do their own observations and teachers can keep a ongoing record of progress (McGrath, 2017). For this part of Seesaw I have wrote down observational notes of who shows an interest in using Seesaw and who doesn’t. For those who do not like it, I have kept track of reasons they don’t want to upload anything to Seesaw. This serves as a form of quantitative data. I can look at the number and ratio of students successfully using Seesaw. My data will also show which parents are actively involved with Seesaw. Parent involvement is a great feature of Seesaw because it lets parents who may not have the time or ability to see inside the classroom more than ever before (Teachers Talking Tech, 2017). Great! Its nice that you are confident in your data analysis. I am curious on how you are going to present this data. Will you use any graphs or mainly give numbers and percentages in sentences? I think some pie graphs would look great and also a few tables will help organize the data nicely for readers.

I liked your idea of taking a poll to see who would be interested in using the app. I am also looking at how Remind affects parent involvement, so I think this may be a concept I borrow :)
